Linda Wills

We’re excited to introduce Linda, a dedicated CGC member since the spring of 2011! She’s a big fan of Group Fitness classes in our Aquatics Centre and firmly believes that staying active is key to longevity and overall well-being. Beyond the CGC, Linda brings this same energy to her daily life - whether she’s supporting fundraisers, playing the piano, knitting for her grandkids, or staying involved in other meaningful ways!

    • What is your favourite workout routine or your current fitness goal/accomplishment?
    "I absolutely love Aquacise and make sure to attend at least three times a week."
    • What do you wish other people knew about the CGC?
    "Our instructors put a lot of thought into the music and exercises, so it is important to keep chatting to a minimum during Aqua Classes. Your focus helps everyone get the most out of the class!" 
          • What is your favourite post-workout snack?
          "Morning Glory Muffins with Chai Tea." 
          • What is your favourite book/movie/TV show?
          "Books by Genevieve Graham, who weaves Canadian history into romance novels. She is a historian who lives in Halifax."
          • What do you like to do in your spare time?
          "I fundraise for Grandmothers for Africa, play the piano, sing in the choir, knit for my grandchildren and great grandchildren, hang out with grandsons and go for walks with my husband!"
          • What is your favourite food or indulgence?
          "BBQ’d Prime Rib Steak."
          • What is your favourite motivational quote?
          "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained."
