Brian & Art LeBlanc

February 2021

The first thing that is likely to happen when you meet Art and Brian is to share a laugh with them. Even behind masks, the smiling starts when they enter the building with a hearty "Good Day!" or "Bonjour!" as they approach the check-in desk. Both Maritimers and CGC members since 2014, they rarely miss an opportunity for an afternoon swim to exercise and socialize. For them, the CGC is a place where friendships are made and keeping fit is important. Art says it’s the ability to come in for a daily swim that has kept him mobile since the Centre reopened in the summer. Though they both look forward to the day when public health restrictions ease and they can relax in the Hot Tub again, Art and Brian will definitely continue to enjoy their time in the Competition Pool.
