Jody loves walking into the CGC for her daily workout in the Fitness Centre. With a big smile and a fun attitude towards working out, she's spent the past 15 months diligently focused on her fitness goal, and achieving it! One of Jody's favourite things about being a member is the opportunity to see everyone on their own fitness journeys. While she's definitely a regular in the Fitness Centre, she also enjoys using the Track and has taken a few Spin and Yoga classes too.

"Dartmouth"
  • What do you like about the CGC? Where in the CGC will we find you?
 "I like that the CGC has great staff, and various options for each individual’s fitness journey. I am always in the Fitness Centre, and sometimes on the Track." 
  • What motivates you to be active? Why is fitness important to you? 
"I feel so much better when I am as healthy as I can be. Fitness has always been very important to me, however, I really doubled down on my focus in the last 15 months. 
  • What is your favourite workout routine or your current fitness goal/accomplishment?
    "I have a passion for any workout involving free weights. Chest and back workouts are my favourite. I have been on a weight loss journey, so that has been my motivation. I’ve very recently reached my goal, now I am working on toning and definition."
      • What is your favourite post-workout snack?
      "Fruit"
        • What is your go-to workout song or what are you listening to right now?
        "I like listening to anything 90s while working out."
        • What do you like to do in your spare time?
        "I enjoy cycling, and trying new restaurants with friends."
          • What is your favourite food or indulgence?
           "I love Thai food, Italian food, and anything dessert."
          • What is your favourite quote?

          • What is your favourite memory of the CGC?
          "Seeing everyone on their own fitness journeys, and some great Spin and Yoga classes."
          • What was your first impression of the CGC?
          "When I first came to CGC, I was blown away at the level of customer service—friendly and welcoming (Thanks Alyshia)."
          • What do you wish other people knew about the CGC?
          "There is something for everyone and every fitness level here."
