If you’re looking for active fun to inspire you to move, the wait is over! We’re ready to share the Winter 2025 Program Guide filled with an energetic lineup of recreation, fitness and aquatics programs for all ages and fitness levels. Find for your favourite programs, and/or step out of your comfort zone and try something new in 2025!
Here are highlights from our programming team:
Recreation
- Youth Introduction and Development Badminton programs teach the fundamentals of the sport and reinforces skills while playing the game
- Learn the basics, improve your skills and enjoy round robin game play during Pickleball Fundamentals or Skills & Drills in the Field House (for ages 18+)
- Youth, Family, Adult and Para-Karate programs teach basic karate movements, skill development and are a great and fun way to stay active
Fitness and Wellness
Adult Specialized Programs (Ages 16+)
- Improve strength, endurance and have fun in one or more of Dylan’s programs on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays or Wednesdays—Iron Circuit, Toughen Up or Toughen Up 101
- Feel confident and comfortable lifting and learn strength exercised with CGC’s female Exercise Specialist Sarah in Strength Training for Women (All Levels)
Youth Programs (Ages 13-17)
- Youth have the opportunity to work with a CGC Exercise Specialist in two programs designed for students—Youth Strength & Conditioning and Youth Speed & Power
Post Natal Program
- Stroller Circuit provides new parents the chance to enjoy cardio and strength workouts and have fun without leaving the little one out of the picture
Wellness Programs (Ages 16+)
- Learn basic Salsa dance moves and work on rhythm in a fun no-pressure environment; no partner necessary
- Build strength and balance and have fun in the lunchtime Strengthen & Flow program
- Functional Pilates is your go-to if you’re looking to challenge yourself with a variety of standing, seated, and lying postures to help you gain core strength and stamina
- We offer other yoga programs too—Intro to Yoga and Yin Yoga
Fitness Services
- Fitness Services are also available and include Personal Training and Dryland Team Training
Aquatics Programs
- Learn basic aquatic survival skills and proper swimming technique with Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life programs; Group and Private inclusion swim lessons available
- Group lessons available for teens and adults
- Want to be a lifeguard or know the skills they have? If so, our Leadership Programs are the perfect fit for you. Learn vital first aid, lifeguard and lifesaving skills in our Aquatics Centre—a great path for youth employment!
- The CGC Swim Academy programs focus on technique, athletic integrity, and of course fun
