December Maintenance Projects
We're Getting Ready for the New Year

Facility maintenance and upkeep takes place at the CGC on a daily basis, but during the month of December we are going to tackle some projects that are not possible while the areas are in use.
Change Rooms:
Starting the week of December 17th, we will be taking care of maintenance in the change rooms that includes tile work, painting, repairs, and deep cleaning:
- Wednesday, December 19th & Thursday, December 20th | Family Change Room closed
- Monday, December 24th | Women’s Dry Change Room and Men’s Dry Change Room closed
Alternative changing rooms during these closures will be clearly marked, so please keep your eyes peeled for signage within the CGC.
Stairs:
Following our Change Room maintenance, we will be re-doing the main stairs leading to the second level. The stairs will be closed on Sunday, December 23rd & Monday, December 24th for removal of stair treads and painting. On Thursday, December 27th, the stairs will be closed to apply the new stair treads. The elevator will still be available to take you to the Fitness Centre, Fitness Studio and Track during the refinishing of the stairs.
