Elite Canada Gymnastics Competition

Feb. 3rd to 7th Schedule Changes

The Road to Rio begins right here at home and we’re excited to be the host venue! Please join us in welcoming 180 athletes for the Elite Canada Gymnastics Competition including locals Ellie Black, Enya Pouliot, Will Black, Hugh Smith, Alex Waters and Christopher Bearne! Watch Canada’s top gymnasts compete as they prepare for the 2016 Olympic Games this August. Tickets available online until February 1st with a limited number of tickets available at the door each day (cash only).

This exciting event means schedule changes and a super busy parking lot for the Centre. We want to ensure you, our members, can plan ahead. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Full Field House will be closed from February 3 to 7. Full events schedule here.
  • The parking lot will be busy with intermittent disruptions for set up (Feb. 3 after 4pm) and tear down (Feb. 7 after 2pm). Parking will be on a first come basis with reserved parking for Emergency personnel only.
  • Swim lessons have been cancelled for February 6 & 7 (rescheduled for March 5 & 6).
  • Fitness classes are running in other parts of the Centre, but space will be limited for these dates:
    • February 3
      • HIIT 6-7pm | Track Starting Blocks
      • Zumba 7-8pm | Community Centre
    • February 4
      • Zumba 9:15-10:15am | Track Starting Blocks
      • Forever Strong 10:30-11:30am | Track Starting Blocks
      • Pumped 12:15-1pm | Dance Studio
      • Hard Core 6-6:45pm | Track Starting Blocks
      • Athletic Step 7-8pm | Community Centre
    • February 5
      • HIIT 9:15-10:15am | Track Starting Blocks
      • Fit for Life 10:30-11:30am | Community Centre
    • February 6
      • HIIT 9:15-10:15am | Track Starting Blocks
  • The Track is open February 3 to 6, but closed for a Track Meet on Sunday, February 7 from 8am – 7pm.
