Since its inception in 1998, the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic (CSCA) has coordinated and delivered high performance sport services to coaches and athletes throughout Atlantic Canada. In recognition of the growth of high performance sport opportunities in the region, the CSCA was designated institute status in the summer of 2022 becoming the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic. CSIA currently provides service to 164 Sport Canada carded athletes, 806 provincial athletes, and 997 coaches across the four Atlantic provinces.
