On February 19th, STEP UP in support of the 1 in 5 Nova Scotian’s with lung disease and raise critical awareness and funds for the Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
The Lung Association, in partnership with the Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Services, is organizing Stair Heroes! You can register to climb the 18-flights at Scotia Square alongside local firefighters to raise much needed awareness and funds for lung health in Nova Scotia.
This is a family-oriented event including a morning filled with stair climbing and entertainment to support the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. You can register to climb as an individual or a team in either the competitive or recreational heats. You will also be able to compare your time to our local firefighters’ who will be climbing the stairs wearing 75+ pounds of equipment!
