On February 16th, RISE UP in support of the 1 in 5 Nova Scotian’s with lung disease.
The Lung Association of Nova Scotia, in partnership with the Halifax Fire and Emergency Services, is organizing Stair Heroes, the first-ever Halifax stair climb! You can register to climb the 18-flights at Scotia Square alongside local firefighters to raise much needed awareness and funds for lung health in Nova Scotia.
This is a family-oriented event including a morning filled with stair climbing and entertainment to support the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. You can register to climb as an individual or a team in either the competitive or recreational heats. You will also be able to compare your time to our local firefighters’ who will be climbing the stairs wearing 75+ pounds of equipment!
