Sport Nova Scotia to Host Parasport Expo
Building on the momentum of the Paralympics in Sochi, disabled athletes, able-bodied athletes, parasport coaches, officials, volunteers, guides, parents, students, teachers, and fans will come together in Halifax on June 7th to celebrate all things parasport!
Visitors can try their hand at a multitude of parasports including wheelchair basketball, para-athletics, goalball, and boccia. Interactive booths will allow participants to try out a parasport and sign up for summer programs . The expo is hosted by the Sport Nova Scotia in partnership with the Department of Health & Wellness, Canada Games Centre and the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic.
