The Mobile Food Market is a new initiative, that aims to bring fresh, high quality, affordable foods to neighbourhoods in Halifax with food access issues.

Every Saturday, a Halifax Transit bus will be transformed into a mobile market that delivers fresh and affordable produce around the Halifax region. The Mobile Food Market will stop in 5 communities; North and East Preston one week and Spryfield, Fairview and North End Halifax the following week. The Food Market will run from May to October, stopping in the different communities for 1.5 hours every second week.
