3-session Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Join Molly De Shong (MEd., RCT, CCC), counsellor-therapist and facilitator based at the Park West Medical Clinic in Clayton Park for a 3-session introduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
Sessions take place from 7pm-8pm in the Canada Games Centre Boardroom on:
- September 19th
- September 26th
- October 3rd
Attending all 3 sessions is encouraged, but newcomers are welcome at all sessions.
Cost is $15 per person.
During these sessions, how we find ourselves caught in difficult patterns of thinking and behaviour that lead to stress, reactivity, self-criticism, and other challenges to our health and well-being will be explored. Discover how the evidence-based practices of MBSR can help us feel more positive, stable, and resourceful. No prior experience needed.
For more information, or to register, call Molly De Shong at 902-802-6543 or email mdeshong@gmail.com.
Mindfulness is key to Molly’s work with individuals, families, and organizations. Molly studied MBSR with founder Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn (author of Fully Catastrophe Living) and trained in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. She teaches an 8-week course, Mindfulness & Emotional Wellbeing, at Saint Mary’s University.
