This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Komagata Maru journey. Through a powerful and visually engaging national exhibition with original artefacts “Lions of the Sea” brings the entire Canadian story of the Komagata Maru to life and its legacy that helped build the nation of Canada.
An all-day exhibit will be taking place from 11am-6pm that will show case real life stories and artefacts. As well as an informative lecture from 2:30pm-3pm.
