First Baptist Church is inviting young singers ages 7-10 years old to participate in choral classes. The project intends develop a children’s choir program for First Baptist Church by September 2019. The young singers will be provided a taste of ensemble singing, vocal technique, and solfege in a welcoming and non-competitive environment. No previous choral experience is necessary. Registration is open until May 27th, 2019 with rehearsals on June 1st, 8th, and 15th from 10:15am to 11:30am. Bring your love of singing and an eagerness to learn!
The first performance will be at the Choir Fundraiser on Thursday, June 20th from 5:30pm to 7pm at First Baptist Church, 1200 Oxford Street.
