Come on Nova Scotia….Check It! Blood Pressure Challenge is a provincial initiative coordinated by Cardiovascular Health Nova Scotia, Diabetes Care Program of Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Renal Program.
Join the Chebucto Community Health Team here at the CGC on Wednesday, June 15th from 9am to 11am in our Main Street area. Get your blood pressure checked and enter for a chance to win a pedometer.
The Health Team with Physiotherapists Carah & Christina, and Dietitian Ashley will be on-site to take your blood pressure and provide information on ways to manage your blood pressure.
Regular and routine monitoring of blood pressure – or “knowing your numbers” is an important way to take care of yourself. This provincial challenge is aiming to raise awareness about high blood pressure and to reach the goal of having 5,000 blood pressures checked in the month of May (with the last challenge here at the CGC)!
