Have any plans for June 7, 2015? Come celebrate as the #TO2015 Pan Am torch relay visits the Canada Games Centre at 10:15am!
The Canada Games Centre’s very own Laura Pomeroy and NBA Player Andrew Nicholson will be our Torch Bearers for this segment of the relay. Laura is a Bronze medalist from the 2002 Commonwealth Games, a six-time Gold medalist from the Summer Canada Games in 2001, a 2-time National Champion and former Canadian record holder in the 50m freestyle event. Andrew, a Canadian native from Mississauga, Ontario and Canadian National Team member was drafted to the Orlando Magic in 2012. He will be one of the amazing athletes representing Canada at the Pan Am Games.
