Are you ready for summer fun? We are!
The fun begins on July 2 at the CGC! Find your favourite camps and programs in our 2025 Summer Camps & Programs Guide. Stay active all through the summer months, we have programs for all ages, interests, and fitness levels.
Summer Camps – Age 5 1/2 to 12 years old*
*Children must have turned 5 by December 31, 2024 to attend camp
From Wednesday, July 2 to Friday, August 22, here’s a peek at what your summer will look like:
- Aspiring Artists | Find your inner artist, spend the week expressing your creative side by designing colourful and unique masterpieces.
- Earth & Space Adventures | Get ready for a week full of cosmic fun, create your own space shuttle and test out a telescope!
- Spectacular Science | Grab your lab coat and join us for fun science experiments and activities.
- Outdoor Explorers, Water Blast, Youth Leadership, and more…
Fitness and Wellness (Ages 16+)
Our registered Adult Fitness and Wellness programs are designed for the participant who wishes to progress over the course of a program. Led by our certified instructors, these programs are smaller in size allowing for more specialized training and attention to help you reach your goals.
Adult Specialized Programs
- Iron Circuit, Toughen Up or Toughen Up 101 encourages you to learn functional movements, bodyweight exercises, interval training and more.
- Youth Strength & Conditioning program continues in July and August to provide youth in grades 10-12 an opportunity to work with an Exercise Specialist and master the principles of effective training.
Wellness Programs
Our Wellness programs have something for all fitness levels in a welcoming environment. Here’s what we’re offering this summer – Total Mobility and Functional Pilates!
- Total Mobility is designed for beginners and includes intermediate exercisers! Improve your overall flexibility and body awareness through static and dynamic stretch techniques and joint mobility work.
- Functional Pilates—gain strength and stamina with a variety of moves and postures using props, weights, and your own bodyweight.
Perinatal Programs
Our perinatal programs have the opportunity to benefit your pregnancy journey, as well as parents who already have little ones running around.
- Stroller Circuit – one of our most popular programs, provides new parents the chance to enjoy cardio and strength workouts and have fun while having the little ones tag along.
- Prenatal Yoga honours the changes in ourselves and our body throughout the 9 months of connecting with baby. Our Pre and Postnatal Yoga instructor will provide you with the opportunity to strengthen and balance your body.
Fitness Services
- Fitness Services are also available and include Personal Training and Dryland Team Training
Aquatics Programs
- Learn basic survival skills and proper swimming technique with Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life programs—from Parent and Tot to Swimmer 9.
- The CGC Leadership Programs Chart shows the path to become a lifeguard and/or instructor and how to become CGC Aquatics staff. In Leadership Programs, you can learn vital first aid, lifeguarding, athletic integrity, and of course, fun!
- The CGC Swim Academy Summer Swim Team is for athletes looking to compete over the summer months in a positive, encouraging and fun environment. The 2025 Summer Provincial Championships will occur in Lunenburg from Friday, August 15 – Sunday, August 17.

Summer Registration happens in our NEW MyREC System!
You’ll need a MyRec account to register for all CGC programs! See our How To’s.
NEW! Non-member Summer Program users will need a new Program Access card – you will receive the new card on the start date of your program at the entry gates. Spring Programs will still use their current Program Access Card. All Programs will use this new Program Access card as of Summer Programming, so please keep your new card once you receive it.
