Fitness Centre Cleanse | Oct. 21 & 22, 2015

New machines, cleaning & painting

October 14, 2015

The Fitness Centre is getting some TLC on Wednesday, October 21 & Thursday, October 22. During this time the full Fitness Centre will be closed, so that we may accomplish the following:

  • Removal of older cardio equipment and replacing it with 40 new pieces; treadmills, ellipticals, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, and climbers*
  • A deep clean of the Fitness Centre, including a new paint job
  • Training for our Fitness Centre Staff on all the new pieces
  • A new layout of the Fitness Centre based on member feedback and focusing on better flow for strength and conditioning training

*Please note: The elevator will be used to move equipment, but it will still be available for use by members and visitors.

The Fitness Centre will reopen for 5:30am on Friday, October 23.

How to cope without the Fitness Centre – We can help!

Even though the Fitness Centre is closed for two days, you can still get in a great workout at the CGC. Take this opportunity to try out our Group Drop-In Fitness classes, go for a swim, learn to play Pickleball, relive your childhood playing HORSE on our basketball courts, satisfy a need for speed on our water slides, or take your workout to the Track – just some of the many options available to you. We’re happy to help you with more suggestions if you need them, all you have to do is ask!

We thank you in advance for your patience during this Fitness Centre cleanse and hope you are as excited about the updates as we are!
