Fall 2014 Program Guide Available
Registration begins in August

The word “fall” might cause a few shudders of denial this time of year, but changes in season are much easier to entertain when you have something to look forward to. That’s why we’ve lined up one of our best program seasons yet.
- We’ve expanded our Canadian Sport For Life programming, ensuring kids are getting off to the right start by having fun, gaining confidence and learning the basic movements required of all sports.
- We’re partnering with more experts to deliver quality programming—Badminton Nova Scotia, HEADStart Tennis, Urban Village Dance Academy, and Water Polo Nova Scotia, just to name a few. And we’re continuing to train our program staff to meet the national HIGH FIVE quality assurance standard for recreation programming and child development.
- We’re continuing to offer assistance funding for our programming through Jumpstart and Thrive!
- We’ve added new programs this fall, including Badminton, iFit, Push/Pull Balance and Strength, Total Body Conditioning, Dance for Health, Better Health for You, September Re-Set, Cooking 101, Cooking for Weight Management, and the Jr. Lifesaving Club.

It’s a busy time of year for everyone, that’s for sure. So, to make registering for our fall programs a little easier, we have created one (1) slide with everything on it. We’re calling it our Fall “Programs at a Glance” slide.
