AQUATICS CENTRE MAINTENANCE CLOSURE DATES
CLOSING | Sunday, June 18th at 6pm
RE-OPENING | Thursday, June 22nd at 5:30am – with the exception of the Competition Pool which will re-open Friday, June 23rd
During this full Aquatics Centre closure, we’re tackling some cleaning and maintenance tasks that cannot be completed while Aquatics Centre is open. Projects we have planned include tile work, draining of pools, painting of lines on the bottom of the Competition Pool, wet change room repairs and some serious deep cleaning. The Competition Pool will be closed an extra day as it takes a little longer to fill the pool back up after painting the lines.
Our dry land activities and classes will continue to run during this time: Try out a fitness class; challenge a friend to a game of badminton or practice your jumpshot in the Field House; walk or run on the Track; or stop by for a workout in the Fitness Centre. Our Fitness and Field House schedules can help you decide or if you need an activity suggestion, ask our staff who are always happy to help!
