Accessible Spin Classes
An exciting partnership with Blind Sports Nova Scotia

Our Spring Drop-in Fitness schedule now includes spin classes accessible for members and guests with vision loss. Through a partnership with Blind Sports Nova Scotia, CGC Fitness Instructors received basic sighted guide and etiquette training that teaches them to use verbal cues to describe each exercise and technique. For example, to know how fast your cadence or pedalling should be, instructors will count beats aloud. They will also help you get familiar with the spin bike, getting on and off the bike safely and how to adjust the tension.
Join CGC Fitness Instructors for one of the following accessible classes on our Drop-In Fitness schedule:
- Tuesdays — Spin @ 5:30pm with D.W.
- Thursdays — Spin Gold @ 10:15am with Melissa
- Fridays — Spin @ 5:30pm with Anne
- Saturdays — Spin @ 9am D.W.
