For 2017, RBC Training Ground builds on last year’s success with more qualification events in more cities and has partnered with five additional national sport governing bodies. This will give more than 2,500 yet-to-be-discovered athletes the chance to further fuel their Olympic dreams.
We’re excited to have the RBC Training Ground return to the Canada Games Centre on June 10th for the Regional Finals. This awesome event is geared toward uncovering Canada’s next Olympic athletes.
Events take place from 8am to 7pm on Saturday, June 10th on 2 courts in the Field House. The 2 courts will also be used for set up on Friday, June 9th from 2pm to 10pm.
Building on the success of Team Canada at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, RBC, in partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), the Canadian Olympic Foundation (COF), CBC Sports and the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute (COPSI) Network are renewing the search for future Olympic athletes through RBC Training Ground.
