Tokyo 2020 Women’s Final Paralympic Qualification Tournament

Volleyball Canada, in partnership with World ParaVolley and Volleyball Nova Scotia, is hosting its first international sitting volleyball event in February 2020.
We’re excited to welcome the Tokyo 2020 Women’s Final Paralympic Qualification Tournament to the Canada Games Centre from Sunday, February 23rd to Saturday, February 29th. The event takes place on 1 Court in the Field House, with set up beginning at 6:30pm Sunday evening. The first match is Wednesday, February 26th at 11am with Canada vs. Slovenia. About this Event
This is the final opportunity for Canada to qualify for the Paralympics with only the first-place team earning their ticket to Tokyo 2020. The tournament will see Canada face off against Finland, Germany, Slovenia, Ukraine for the final Paralympic spot, joining the already-qualified Russia, United States, China, Italy, Brazil, Rwanda, and Japan. Canada is sitting fifth on the World Paravolley World Ranking.
The first two days of the tournament are free (admission by donation). Tickets to the final two days can be purchased online.

Athletics Nova Scotia Indoor Club Championships will take place on the full Track on Saturday, February 29th from 11am-10pm. The Track will be open for members & guests on Saturday morning from 7am-11am.
