• March 24th | Aquatics Centre Water Polo Spring Jamboree

    Friendly Reminder: We're excited to be hosting the Water Polo Spring Jamboree on Saturday, March 24th in the Competition Pool  (5 lanes) from 12pm to 5pm. Come out and cheer on our Swim Academy Water Polo Team! Please be sure to look at our Aquatics schedule, and note that Lane Swim is limited from 12pm-5:30pm. Good luck to all the teams.

  • Field House Schedule Changes | March 24th & 25th

    Friendly Reminder: We're excited to be the host venue for the 2018 Halifax Open Volleyball Tournament (Dalhousie Tigers Senior Men's & Women's) on Saturday, March 24th from 8:30am to 10pm and Sunday, March 25th from 8am to 8pm in the full Field House. Drop-in Fitness classes that regularly run in the Field House will be relocated and the Track will be open during the Tournament.   • Upcoming Maintenance | March 19th-27th

Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame, Camp of Excellence

This summer, the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame is organizing its first ever Hall of Fame Basketball Camp of Excellence. This will be a high intensity 3 day camp for the young player who wants to take their game to the next level and learn the steps it will take to get there.

From Friday, August 25th to Sunday, August 27th on two full courts at the Canada Games Centre, they will learn and put into practice essential basketball and life skills, under the guidance of the most accomplished sport personalities in the province. This camp will be a true “Nova Scotia” basketball experience!

The Camps will be running on 2 courts in the Field House:

  • Friday, August 25th | 6pm-9pm
  • Saturday, August 26th | 9am-4pm
  • Sunday, August 27th | 9am-4pm

Camp proceeds go in support of the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame with emphasis on the Future Hall of Famers Education Program. This free education program is offered to thousands of youth across Nova Scotia in the hopes that stories of our athletes will motivate and inspire them to set goals and go after their dreams.
