Jane’s Walk – Belchers Marsh

May 7, 2016 | 9:00 am – 10:30 am

Opposite 390 Parkland Drive (entrance to the Marsh).

Jane’s Walk is one of 20 walks happening around Halifax and is taking place May 7th, from 9am-10:30am. This walk will be held in the beautiful Belchers Marsh Park, home to a 2.5km trail, nestled in Clayton Park West.

Join Bob McDonald of the Halifax North West Trails Association to discover the history of the Park and learn how nature is surviving among a densely developed area of Mainland North Halifax.

With any luck, we may see both the provincial flower, the Mayflower, in bloom, or the provincial bird, the Osprey, feeding over the marsh.

For information on more walks throughout the HRM visit the Jane’s Walk website.
