Fairview Mobile Food Market

April 22, 2017 | 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

MacDonald Laurier Place, 3 Ford St., Fairview

The Mobile Food Market is back in Fairview – this time indoors!

The Fairview Mobile Food Market Host Team has partnered with the Metropolitan Regional Housing Authority to keep you warm and snow-free while shopping for fresh, affordable produce here in our community. We now also carry fresh bread backed by Stone Hearth Bakery, a local social enterprise!

Each pop-up market offers different activities in addition to grocery shopping! You can get a library card, use free WiFi or check out cookbooks thanks to Keshen Goodman Library. Information is available about programming from different community groups including the Community Health Teams and Fairview Family Centre. There is an art table, some free drinks and snacks, great conversation and more!

For more information or to find out about workshops and other special activities, visit the Mobile Food Market website or Facebook page.

Come for your groceries, stay for your community!
