BEAT THE SUGAR BLUES, Michelle MacLean

Are you struggling with sugar cravings? Has your doctor suggested you work on getting your blood glucose levels down? Do you need sugary sweet foods to get you through the day?

Whether you are struggling with fatigue, digestive issues, weight loss, diabetes or metabolic syndrome, one of your first steps to improved health is to remove processed and artificial sugars from your life. Join certified Wellness Coach and Nutrition Consultant Michelle MacLean as she explains the impacts of sugar on your body and your brain, how to balance insulin levels and make manageable shifts in your diet and behavior to improve your overall health.

All Food Run Education Series events are free and you do not need to be registered in the Food Run to attend, though food donations in support of Feed Nova Scotia are encouraged!
