    Our full Track is booked for Competitive Track Club Training on these days through to April – Tues., 7:30pm-10pm | Thurs., 8pm-10pm | Sat., 10:30am-12:30pm | Sun., 8pm-10pm (except during posted Track Meets).

  • April 8th | CGC Closed for New Gates Project

    We're retiring our hardworking turnstiles! The CGC will be closed on April 8th, 2019 to allow us to get started on our new gates and Customer Service Desk renovations. Be Your Own Superhero Workshop

Discover how strong you really are!

Calling all females – moms/daughters; sisters; grandmothers/granddaughters; friends and neighbours. The Be Your Own Superhero Workshop is a fun 2-hour self defence class led by Joan Helson from Sisu Women’s Self Defence. It is about finding your voice, creating safe space and being unapologetically good to yourself. You’ll have a lot of fun hitting the pads, but we also want to help you reconnect your mind and spirit with your superpowers.

Workshop Goals:

  • Understand some key mental and physical elements that can be part of potentially dangerous situations
  • Explore some simple, but effective, tools and strategies to help detect, avoid or escape potentially dangerous situations
  • Discover and test drive the many tools in your self defence toolbox, including mental readiness, situational awareness, trusting your gut, using your voice, and physical defence options

We keep it simple. There are no fancy techniques – just basic kicks, strikes, escapes from grabs and holds and ground defences to give you personal safety options. No physical fitness, flexibility or skill level required to take this course — you work with what you’ve got.
